Overview of Young at Heart
The American Heart Association (AHA) is the nation’s oldest, largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting heart disease and stroke. Founded by six cardiologists in 1924, our organization now includes more than 22.5 million volunteers and supporters. The nationwide organization includes 144 local office and nearly 2,700 employees.

In the fall of 2008, the Dallas office of the American Heart Association formed “Young at Heart”. Members are able to serve the mission of the AHA , while building business and personal relationships throughout the year. 


Mission of the AHA
The mission of the American Heart Association is “To be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.” The impact goal is by 2020 to improve cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20% while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20%.

 

Mission of YAH
Young at Heart (YAH) is a relentless group of young professionals that support the mission of the American Heart Association through healthy lifestyle initiatives, community awareness, and both social and professional development to improve the wellbeing of any personal or business relationship.

Calling all young professionals for Executive Happy Hour on Tuesday, November 12 at CBRE. Meet Chelby Sanders, Senior VP Advisory & Transaction Services of CBRE.

Chelby Sanders specializes in office tenet representation, headquarter relocations, and consulting assignments. Ms. Sanders and her team negotiate approximately 70 transactions per year including a number of the high profile and notable deals in the Dallas Office market. Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Sanders was a Senior Vice President at Jones Lange LaSalle. Ms. Sanders was also the American Heart Association Go Red for Women Chair, 2015-2016 and currently serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.  November 12.
