Dr. Melbert Carl (Bob) Hillert Jr.
October 30, 1946 – March 20, 2020
Dr. Bob Hillert was a friend, longstanding supporter and trailblazer for the American Heart Association ever since Côtes du Coeur was founded in 1991. Over the course of its 35-year history, under his leadership and activity, the annual event has raised more than $60 million for the Association’s mission.
In his 30 years of involvement with the Association, Dr. Hillert held many leadership positions, including president of the Dallas Division’s Board of Directors. We are grateful for the relentless impact he had and the contributions he made in the fight against heart disease and stroke.
